I am a brindle colored Boxer-Whippet mix, about 2 years old and 35 lbs. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I will be your best friend (especially if you have treats!). I have lots of energy and like to go on walks and runs, but once I am finished with my daily exercise there is nothing I love better than to curl up next to you on the couch and take a nap. I am very intelligent and love to show off my tricks. My favorite tricks are roll over, sit, spin, and to balance a treat on my nose until you say ok. am good with cats. I am house trained and can hold it for over 8 hours without accidents. When I sleep I like to go in my crate with my comfy bed. I do have some challenges that I am trying my best to improve. I tend to play a little too rough with younger children, but I would never try to hurt anyone intentionally. Sometimes when I go on walks and meet other dogs, if they act aggressive towards me or growl at me, I may get upset and become reactive towards them. I also like to chase squirrels and rabbits, so I have to always be on a leash when Im outside, or I might catch them! Adoption fee: $450 Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include a $50 refundable training deposit. Complete your basic training program and provide a copy of the certificate within 4 months (120 days) of adoption and we will refund $50 of the original adoption fee. All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application.
