Rosie, a 5-year-old black Domestic Shorthair, has been calling Elmbrook Humane Society (EBHS) home since October 31st, xxxx. Rosie was originally adopted from EBHS in xxxx and was in a loving home. Unfortunately, someone in the household developed allergies to her and she was returned. Rosie has been patiently looking for a new family to call her own. She is smart, independent and playful. Rosie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped. Because Rosie has been at the shelter for several months, she tends to get bored in her cage and likes to play tricks on the volunteers. Rosie will occasionally swat or reach out and grab our volunteers as a fun way to get attention. Rosie, with her playful nature, also likes to give our volunteers love bites. Because of this, we would recommend that Rosie not go to a home with smaller children. She is best with older children and adults who can dedicate time to play with her and get to know her quirks. Rosie will entertain you, make you smile and help wake you up for work in the morning. As much as Rosie is loved by EBHS staff and volunteers, we want nothing more than to see her in a home where she will be loved and well cared for.
